IM GOING TO RANT

Stupid people piss me off especially when they are the ones that have made repetive mistakes, their like a vicious cycle and guess what that is called = INSANITY, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome! That is why we live faraway from all the DRAMA back at home, we just may stay away FOREVER.

Dreycin ROLLED OVER on his own!!!!

Tonight mommy and daddy were doing the Wii Fit Plus and all of a sudden I look down and Dreycin is on his tummy (he was just on his back) so we continued to watch him and he went back over onto his back, the whole time he was just laughing and smiling at himself in the lamaze mirror. It was so cute. By the way he is going through a VERY VOCAL stage right now, basically it is a competition of who can get the loudest! haha I can only imagine he will be a very social little guy! So he continued to do it over and over again, back and forth from tummy and back! This was the best end to the day! My little boy rolled over all on his own! i'll see if i can get a video of it soon!

Also if you need a little boost or just need something different to do Wii FIT Plus is AWESOME! IT tells you how many calories you burn, and with all the new stuff to do its worth the $19 i paid for it on amazon. Yesterday I did 30min and today I did 40min. Derek did the biggest loser Wii game and it was pretty cool, i just wasnt feeling up to par to do that one quite yet! But I am feeling better, im now taking bactrim (was taking Keflex which just didnt seem to help) which I was scared to take since im still breastfeeding but I talked to the lactation consultant and even though its a L3 category its considered safe since im only taking it 3days. anyways i leave ya'll with pics of my AWESOME little man!

Update & Pics

So i had two days off and I was sick the whole time, i have a bladder infection and literally my right side was hurting so bad when I went pee that I went to the doctor today, Dreycin in tote. I hated taking him with me, but with my mom out of town and Derek at work I had no other choice. Thank God my doc saw me during her lunch so that Dreycin wouldnt have to be around in the waiting room, etc. So now im on antibiotics, I can continue breastfeeding but if this round doesnt work im going to have to do cipro which I wont be able to breastfeed on. Good Thing for the HUGE supply i have!!!! We'll see if I make it through the next two days of work....DReycin was so good for me today. It hurt to pick him up so we basically laid on the floor while playing and on the couch while napping! As if I dont go to the doctor enough I also had my 6month eye check up on Tuesday which went well. Because of the Plaquenil I take for my lupus it requires me to get eye exams, dilation, and visual field test every 6months. Today my mom was in Dallas & she bought me gently used items of everything we need for our trip home so that we wouldnt have to carry everything to the airport. She got the Evenflo Journey Elite car seat and stroller (Circus theme) and a bathtub for $50 and the same theme playard for $40! Now thats what i call a deal, and saves me from having to gate check all of that stuff at the airport!

Kicked it into HIGH GEAR!

So in our crazy lives I have not had any time to write. First off, Derek and I are officially in the bandwagon to get healthy. Derek was diagnosed with high blood pressure at the young age of 29, and he was put on 10mg of lisinopril per day(which per my Aunt is a low dose). I knew his blood pressure was high, but I never thought he would be put on meds. So we have been eating these pre made/ready salads from Kroger's private selection. They are delicious and low in calories.

We also have been doing the Wii Fit together, so much so that we ordered the Wii Fit Plus and Biggest Loser games! I'll be the first to say that our dessert CRAVINGS have been bad lately and we got some of smart ones chocolate chip cookie dough sundae, and they are sooooo good!

Derek and I also went to B'RUS last week and bought dreycin a new car seat because....yep he is getting wayyyy to big for his infant car seat which I think the Baby Trend brand we bought runs small, it only holds up to 22lbs?
We are definitely going to need it by the time we come home to Dallas at the end of March. He is at least 18lbs according to the scale the other day!?!?!? His straps are on the loosest setting possible! We ended up getting a Britax Marathon that is a convertible and can be used from 5lbs-65lbs. He's a big boy, pretty much wearing all 6months and up clothes. We also found a new love for pampers swipers, we LOVE the smell its kind of grapey! As i sit here on the floor writing this, Dreycin is soooooooo close to rolling onto his tummy from his back! We also welcomed (well we werent in Austin) Dreycin's new baby cousin Jude Rowan DeLaVega, he's quite the cutie and looks just like his momma Misty! This week Abuela Doss is in Texas for a few days so I think Dreycin is missing her! Derek was able to get two days off this week so that she could go, and I wouldnt have to take any time off. In other news....I had to go to the immediate care center because my mom stabbed(it was actually a poke) with a knife. What happened was she was cutting celery in the kitchen and the fan was on high on the microwave, and I guess she didnt hear me come up behind her to put my dinner dishes in the sink, and at the same time my mom turned to throw the celery trash away (with the knife in her hand) and my shoulder was right there. It could have been ALOT worse, but thank god it was just a dull steak knife and just made me actually bleed in one spot, and knicked me in two others. Well after we got to the immediate care center and found out it was going to be a 2hr wait.....I called my Aunt who is a Physician Assistant, and first she laughed, we laughed, but then she told me I just had to get a tetanus shot within 72hrs. Ironically mine was up last year. I ended up getting the shot at work yesterday, my arm hurt like hell last night and today. on top of all this chaos.....we are also looking for a house to rent until 2012, something to accomodate our growing family! We have found a few houses but we arent settling quite yet. Its just stressful, moving yet AGAIN!
AANNNNDDDD.....Derek's brother Elliot came into town from Iraq visited for a few days then went back to Texas & got engaged to such a wonderful and beautiful girl, Sarah. We are so happy for them. They have already made it through the first half of the deployment, so in my heart I know they can make it through anything!

Dia de San Valentine and SNOW pics!!!

Today is a major SNoW day here in Louisville, i didnt go to work and Derek was off anyways.....it just keeps coming, and the forecast doesnt see a stop through the weekend! For Valentine's day we just hung around the house, Derek made me blueberry pancakes and I woke up to beautiful pink flowers, coffee, and he had gotten me my absolute favorite chocolate avalanche PAYDAY bar. I originally told him not to get anything that would make me fat, but he also ended up getting a red velvet cake mix with cream cheese frosting and he made cupcakes last night. BTW im taking them to work tomorrow! We went in the early afternoon to work out, which I was able to work our 4days this week, its not easy but its starting to happen! Pretty much I was just loving on my boys all day long! my mom brought us home a valentine too giftcard to our movie theatre by our house, and Dreycin a VTECH roll & crawl ball.
