So we are 34wks, and from my appt last week there will be no going past 39wks due to my lupus and that means Baby Bronson will be here August 31st or maybe sooner if he decides. Bronson has had the hiccups alot lately, I dont really ever remember Dreycin having the hiccups like ever? He gets them like 2x a day, last week his hiccups are actually what saved me from having to do the NST longer than an hour.....I just had to drink some water eat some pistachios and cashews, and he started moving and hiccuping. Usually an NST should only last 15-20min but I was on a whole hour because personally I think he is more "laid back" than Dreycin was in my tummy! Ive started losing some of my mucus plug as of yesterday, and defn having pressure sooner than I did with Dreycin. And since im not having high blood pressure like I did with Dreycin, im still able to stay pretty active and will be walking as soon as we MOVE AGAIN. yes we are moving to the Marine Corps Base housing, which is a blessing and yet so overwhelming to me. Everything that could possibly go wrong with this rental house and the rental company has, but on the other hand im only 5wks from delivery and we are moving, aggghhh. Did I mention Derek is in South Carolina for 6days.....but no worries I have my bestie Jgray here to keep us company and help out just in case! We have been having a great time, and seeing Dreycin with her makes me so happy! He repeats everything she says, and has already learned new words! I guess Dreycin gets tired of hearing mom's voice everyday!
Im pretty much all set for baby, will wash clothes, blankets, bedding once we move to the new place and just got my last few items from amazon the other day.....the leg extensions for my arm's reach co sleeper and a beco butterfly 2 carrier in espresso. The last thing im going to purchase is cloth diapers, a few different kinds to see which I like best. yep im gonna try it, at least try it because im a greenie who wants to help the environment. But ive pretty much convinced myself that im gonna start out with disposable diapers to get the breastfeeding schedule down, along with handling a toddler while maintaining house for the first few months before starting to wash poopie diapers every day. If all this goes well, I wont have any use for disposable diapers in the next few months! Dreycin is still doing pretty good with potty training, he goes pee every evening 1-2x in his potty. Im not gonna push him, he does say pee pee alot but once i take him he's already gone. We will get there eventually! And with all the changes coming up like moving and a new sibiling, i just dont want to push it!
BTW did I mention in a previous post that Derek calls me the iphone killer. Well tonight while outside Dreycin dropped my iphone (3rd this pregnancy) and the glass shattered, didnt break so i just taped it up with packaging tape and its still working! guess ill only be using for pandora, on the ipod dock away from small hands! i really am doomed with iphones.....and my coffee maker stopped working this morning. This house is no good.

32wks2days
Today was my 32wk appointment, and after being in Florida for 5days I knew I would be tipping the scales from all the food we ate! I only gained 4lbs, but at this point I wonder if some of it is fluid from traveling in the car? First we had our 8am appt with my high risk doc for repeat ultrasound to view heart and growth. Baby Bronson came in weighing appx. 5lbs 9oz, about the 80th percentile. We talked about a delivery date no later than 39weeks, and in 4wks we will be discussing his size/growth and if I may need a csection. booooooooo, i dont want a csection and for my little family that will make it so much harder on us. After we left that appt I was kind of bummed about all the csection talk, but excited that Bronson is healthy and we only have about 7wks to meet him! I had my regular OB appt at 11am, went to that by myself were we started weekly NST's to monitor Bronson......of course he didnt want to put on a show so that earned us 40min on the monitors! His heart rate was fluxuating from 140's to low 160's when he would move or I would have a contraction (which only happened a few times). So weekly, only 7more weeks which puts us at the end of August near this mama's bday Aug 22! Im really hoping that since this is subsequent pregnancy my body will know more of what to do and I wont have to be induced bc of his growth or gestational hypertension, plus Im so much more active with Dreycin keeping me busy!
Derek and I have really been talking alot about more kids after Bronson, and we are undecided. But I have decided that I will get a paraguard (5yr copper IUD) to be able to reevaluate once at least Dreycin is in school. In the back of my mind though, I keep thinking that maybe God has blessed me with two healthy boys, boys that are more unlikely of being predisposed to having lupus, having to go through what I have which I wish upon no one. (historically women are more likely to have lupus) So maybe we should stop while we are ahead. The decision is still an open door, the other reasons I worry are age, is after 30 with lupus really a wise idea, given my history of gestational hypertension.....and of course the main factor what kind of stability, financial state will we be in if and when we decide to have another. There is no feeling, like the feeling of being pregnant carrying life, being a mom something that I never knew if I would be able to do. For that reason makes me want to pop out 4kids, well and I was an only child. I guess only time will tell. But for now Im surrounded by Derek, Dreycin, Bronson, and pepper......aggghhhh so much testosterone!!!
I mentioned earlier we were in Florida for vacation with my Aunt Deborah(dad's sister) and her bunch from Oklahoma. We try to get together at least 1x a year where ever Derek and I are close to. Last year we took an extended weekend in St Louis, the year before they came up to Kentucky for a week. So this year well actually about 1month ago we started to plan for a week of VK in Florida. I came across this hotel that was green friendly, more of a nature based lodge that was near the gulf of mexico and only 2hrs 15min from where we currently are living in Albany, ga. We went to the beach every day, a location called Alligator point. It was beautiful, relaxing, and the best part was that there were no tourists. Definitely the place to be if you enjoy nature, food, beaches, and somewhat seclusion to the world. The boys went crab hunting, and also found tons of sand dollars hermit crabs and shells. Dreycin loved playing in the sand, and at the water's edge. He really wasnt a fan of going into the ocean. I really didnt venture out either because I was afraid I would fall, and those waves can be pretty forceful, I was perfectly happy playing with Dreycin at the edge of the ocean! Did I mention we ate, and ate, and ate.....yes that was probably Bronson's favorite part! We also took a boat tour of Wakulla Springs saw tons of alligators, turtles, birds, fish, and a manatee. There is nothing like spending time with family, and the best part was seeing how Dreycin became so loving & attatched to my family! My cousin Bailey was great with him, and they were little cuddle monkeys together! Today when I had my appt, Derek and I left and not a peep came out of Dreycin when we left him with my uncle Brian! Of course when they left tonight I was crying and Dreycin was crabby for about 2hrs after they left. We have been so blessed to have so many of our family and friends visit us here in the shitake hole, but I just get so sad when they leave :( We have one more visitor coming before Bronson's arrival, one of my best girlfriends from high school Jgray. She is actually coming because Derek is being forced to go to Paris Island, South Caroline for rifle range for 1wk....When I found out he was going (last week) I started contemplating who can I get to come stay with me (just in case) while Derek was gone, and she was #1 candidate because she is a teacher and is OFF!
Itinerary for the following week: start and finish potty training. I have a little boy who is telling me when he goes pee pee and poopie! wish us luck, we are doing the 3day method and going straight to big boy underwear! Will post pics of VK soon ;)

D-Rex updates....
Dreycin loves to whistle. He says please, thank you, "i sorry" and your welcome! Words he loves to say are truck, milk, ouch, oh gosh, and food. He has been putting an emphasis on the K's at the end of those works and sounds like a German! The kid has a ginormous appetite lately, but it varies day by day. But im pretty sure he just had a growth spurt! He will be 20months in just a few days! Dreycin helps put his clothes on, and loves to take them off! He is soooo ready to be potty trained, but we have a trip to Florida next week and we are gonna tackle that when we get back! He goes pee pee in the potty when he wakes up, or after nap time, and has also started to tell me when he is going pee. He also got very upset when he went pee in his big boy underwear that I put him in (bc his bottom was irritated). The other day Dreycin pointed to my big belly and said circle, then traced his finger around my belly button! He loves to sing, and dance. Favorite songs are Old McDonald had a farm, ABC's, and 5 monkeys hanging in a tree. There is a guy on you tube Mr mike sings, and we sing his songs because he includes finger plays with them! If you say I Love, Dreycin always says you or I you! He is totally a little person that can tell you what he wants (most of the time). He loves to be outside, so we try to go out at least for 30min every morning to play with his water table or chalk! He is defn showing a little obsession with fire trucks, trucks, trains, cars, tractors......he is all boy! Dreycin loves to play with other kids, and defn feeds off of others energy! Crazy to think in 2 months I will have a new addition, its just gone by so fast! I just asked Dreycin what else he likes to do, and since we saw fireworks last night he said "A Boom!" I had told him all day we were going to see the Kaboom~
Dreycin is so smart and he just amazes Derek and I everyday. He loves to play with playdoh, and talk on the phone (pretend or real)! So there you have it, an update on my adorably smart little boy!
