Today Abuela, Dreycin and I had a trip out into the big world! First we went to the pediatrician who informed that...just maybe i was overfeeding my kid, Dreycin is now 10 lbs!! So he does have reflux, but its because i was feeding him for about 12min on each breast(I was told 10-15min each at 2nd wk appt) and I guess my milk production is REALLY REALLY on overload. His tummy is only the size of a marble and his food was overflowing...So my baby boy was eating a thanksgiving dinner every time he ate....but how was I suppose to know?? So tomorrow morning my doctor said to pump before the feeding to see how much i got, then feed him with a bottle. Tonight I pumped after the feeding which is now 7-8min on each breast and got 2.5oz, which the pediatrician said Dreycin should be eating about 2-3oz each feeding. I could be feeding another kid! That probably means he was eating like 4-5oz? My wittle piggy was just eating away.....like his daddy and grandpa Doss do!!! Dreycin did throw up a little after the feeding tonight and is still having some symptoms of reflux, so the doc recommended we shorten the feeds but keep him on the zantac until his 1month appt next week! Yes my son is almost 1month old :( I cant believe it!
Afterwards we went to Kosair Children's Hospital to get his EKG done (since I carry sjrogen's antibody with my lupus) and from my experience today I would never ever order an EKG on a baby as a doctor. Dreycin would not stay still and was screaming. The tech was like, do you have a bottle. I said i breastfeed, if you dont mind i'll just breastfeed him during the EKG.....so thats what I did to get my little oinker to stay still. HE LOVES MOMMY'S MILK! PS it was a female tech, actually a young girl so im pretty sure she was like shocked when i just started breastfeeding! We will find out results next week at 1mon appt. Today was also the 1st time we used our baby trend jogging stroller going thru the hospital, it was awesome! Afterwards we went and had lunch at cheesecake factory, yummy!
We brought Derek to go, since he wasnt with us!

oh my dear sweet lord cindy... those big jugs of yours are FULL of milk!
I was only getting MAYBE 2 oz. every time i pumped, and thats BEFORE breastfeeding.
my milk production was LOW!
Sounds like you've got milk for days though, that's awesome!
Dreycin will get the good stuff for months!!
