St Patrick's Weekend

Our weekend trip to Tallahassee was wonderful. We went to Tom Brown park, chipotle, Costco, a st paddy's day parade, and then Earth Fare! We had fun but it was a long day! Sunday was a day for cleaning bathrooms, lots of laundry(never ending) and relaxing. B man even had his first taste of solids, bananas. Yep despite what doctors said, me changing my diet helped B and he has no blood in his stools for over 1month :) so we started baby led weaning to bananas!!! And we had also switched D's bed from crib to toddler bed.....he is loving it! And after so much fun, anticipation, excitement.....we went for our evening walk......we had just gotten done at the park and Dreycin and I were walking ahead of Derek & B in the double stroller. We were playing, skipping running circles around each other being silly, and then Dreycin ran back towards stroller and he hit his nose/eyebrow bone on the bar of the stroller. He started crying, then silence.....and as a mom you know when your baby isn't crying it hurts. And then he was really silent, I handed him to Derek his eyes were jet black& dilated, arms out in a T, stiff as a board, pale, teeth clenched, and not breathing, I freaked out. I thought for sure my kid was having a seizure, I saw Derek's face and I knew something was wrong. Derek never gets emotional. So we rushed home I called my aunt (PA) and she said to go in because of his eyes dilating, and him not acting like himself. He was clingy, rather quiet, but was able to tell us who we were. He said he saw the stars and the moon :( poor kid, I never knew my heart could go through so many emotions with children, in 1 day. We went to the Er and he was checked out, it had been almost 2 hrs since accident and they let us go home with precautions sheet for a head injury, what to be watching for just in case.
After this weekend, I'm gonna love on my babies extra hard. I didn't even go to yoga tonight, we were worn out....thank goodness I had made big batch of veggie rice last night!
