Yesterday Derek, my mom and I all went to run some errands. 1 of which included ordering my ECO glider from Pottery Barn Kids...by far will be the most expensive thing we buy for the baby but its comfy and the slipcover (that is also 100% organic) can be dry cleaned which most of the rocking chairs out there dont offer. It will be here around mid July which Im VERY excited about~ We also went and bought some maternity shirts as you can see in the pic to right, my regular shirts will probably be too short soon?! My mom seems to think im carrying my pregnancy in my hips and bust. Derek also had a mini shopping spree....i told him you mine as well buy stuff now because after the baby is born it will be ALL about the BABY (we will both probably neglect to buy ourselves stuff over buying for the baby, at least that is what I saw my parents do). In the meantime my mom has been helping me organize/cleanup our house to prepare for baby. Honestly since we moved in, in February I havent done a whole lot because I was so tired...and sick! I really wish I had my mom here 24/7 especially after the baby is born! Last night I had the weirdest dream....i was yelling at a little boy to get away from the snakes and let them go. this little boy was grabbing the snakes by the end of their tails. the funny thing is that i guess since we dont have names picked out yet i was calling the boy pepper?? After I got up i told Derek to please look through the name book because we desperately needed to pick out names.....he's the one that doesnt like any of the names that i like. My mom looked on the internet and it said that if the mom was dreaming about cuddly animals vs strange creatures either means lovable or uncertain. Obviously im very uncertain about this new baby coming into our lives, but excited about it and definitely accepting! anyways im already asking my mom to book her next ticker to come visit :( ill be sad when she leaves! The day ended with some grocery shopping at Whole foods.
