it's been a while

Good Morning,

So the past 3weeks my daddy was here, cooking cleaning and running all my errands. It was so nice to just rest when I came home. While he was here he was able to go see his brother Adrian Ray Doss, Jr. who he had not seen in almost 21years. Im sure now he wants to live here, but then what would happen when Derek and I move back to Texas....i sure won't be driving to Kentucky all the time! We also went to Churchill Downs for a luncheon that I won tickets through my work, which included losing about $40 on the horse races and some really good food! But it was all fun! He also got to spend my first pre-mother's day with me. We went to church, then went and did my registry at Babies R Us, and then went to Havana Rumba , a cuban restaurant that would have been really good if the sickness wouldn't have hit. But i guess it wouldn't have been mother's day if i hadn't gotten sick!!!Im definitely looking forward to this 3day weekend with my hubby. We are planning NOTHING! On another note I can't believe that im going to be 16wks on Monday and im still suffering from the all day sickness, not to mention I havent gained any weight. Oh, but i can NO longer fit in my clothes because my little pooch. A matter of fact, my closet and I got in a huge fight this morning. When derek gets home he is going to think a tornado went through our bedroom. Im officially in my maternity clothes, and anything tight better stay away from me! Which is nice about wearing scrubs to work, but today I was trying to dress up a little for a function after work. Oh and my engagement ring was really tight this morning...so im only wearing the band. anyways, im looking forward to my mom being here on Wednesday for a week! She will get to go to our 16wk appt and see my belly pooch! and we will probably do some shopping :) its also been really cool to have the stork radio come home, and hear my baby's heartrate. I cant wait until i start feeling the baby move, and little flutters!!!!

I bought my first baby items, about 6layettes that are one size fits all. All of them are either beige or sage. One set is Winnie the pooh!! This month i get an extra paycheck, and im going to splurge on the Rockabye rocking chair Derek and I both fell in love with, its so comfy!! Oh and my mom found some of the rainforest collection, and diaper champ from Once Upon a child for like 1/2 off from what it would have been at Babies R Us! She got the swing and bouncer! Can't wait to buy more!!!!!
